Being our best selling tug, the exclusive Sanmar design, 2400 SX, shares similarities with the ASD 24/45 & ASD 24/50 designs but boasts a 2-meter wider beam, enabling greater performance and stability with more powerful Caterpillar engines and larger Rolls-Royce Z-drives. The new versions offer varying bollard pull capacities of 60, 70, or 80 tons depending on the propulsion system chosen. The design emphasizes low-manning operation with advanced machinery automation, and the accommodations can be tailored to suit different crew sizes, with optional layouts for basic day boats or full accommodation for up to six people.
