The exclusive to Sanmar TundRA 3200SX has been primarily designed by Robert Allan Ltd as an escort tug to assist in berthing and unberthing in harbours as well as towing in challenging waters such as the Baltic Sea. Capable of achieving 65 tons of bollard pull, the tug has additional strengthening for harbour ice-breaking and has two 20ft containers on deck for salvage and oil spill recovery equipment. Two efficient 360-degree steerable azimuthing thrusters provide easy manoeuvring from a one-person operated air-conditioned 360-degree all round visibility wheelhouse. With accommodation for a crew of up to seven, the tug is designed for year-round operation in harsh conditions.
