Sanmar has a wealth of experience, producing tugboats and providing services for domestic and international customers for almost five decades. Today, its tugs operate across six continents. The company’s extensive range of tugs now includes a series of ground-breaking emissions-free battery electric-powered tugs along with eco-friendly LNG-fuelled, methanol, hybrid and autonomous vessels. Sanmar operates two custom-built shipyards in Türkiye that, between them, built 26 tugs in 2022, and is developing a third yard to accelerate its green agenda.
